Dolly varden are just one of the trophy fish in Northwest Alaska

Arctic Char -- Kelly and Kugururok Rivers in the Noatak drainage and the Wulik River have excellent Arctic Char (Dolly Varden) as well as grayling from mid June through August.

Sheefish -- From mid June through mid August the Pah River and upper Kobuk is a popular spot.

Northern Pike -- Several scenic locations close to Kotzebue.
